Migladys Bermudez is a native of Southwest Detroit. She graduated from Detroit Mercy Law School in 2014, where she earned a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Immigration Law. Prior to joining Merced Law in Detroit, Migladys was the founding partner at the Law Office of Migladys Bermudez, PLLC., a Detroit-based boutique immigration law firm.
Migladys Bermudez has extensive experience with immigration law and family immigration law issues. She has worked with clients on immigration detention matters involving Cancellation of Removal, Defensive Asylum applications, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Family Petitions like I-130 applications, or I485 applications, and various other Visas.
In addition to all of her legal advocacy for immigrants and the undocumented community, Migladys also provides Know Your Rights presentations for the Detroit_area community. She is an active volunteer with Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON). She is a member of AILA, the Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan, and the Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
